well it is tax season… (o boy). ang is finalizing our business taxes and we have to find a new CPA this year. hopefully i can find a good one in Round Rock without any problem. i hate taxes… as if anyone really likes them. anyhow with an accountant as good as my angel is, we’ll make it thru another tax season alright i imagine.
actually an interesting thing angela heard from her friend in Wyoming: her friend went to H&R Block and they told her that if she had any receipts for 2004 that she could completely deduct her sales taxes!!!! now, if this is true… great… but ang and i find it hard to believe that it’s just that simple… there’s gotta be some catch. first of all H&R block doesn’t just dish out tax saving advice… their business model has always seemed to me to be… get them in, get them out, charge the basic fee, do the basic claim… nothing fancy, nothing that requires too much effort or more than a basic insight into tax laws & regulations.
but, it is definetly worth looking into! so, be sure to ask your accountant or claim preparer.
