site and blog traffic stats for bustercollings.com

i was glancing over the web traffic stats of my site and blog here at bustercollings.com and realized that there are a significant number of people that stop by. for example, so far this month i’ve already had 936 unique visitors with 5821 page views with 611 visitors referred from search engines (yahoo,google,msn,etc in that order).

i gotta say i’ve got a few other sites that squash those numbers in traffic and what not, but it’s still neat that a simple personal website/blog could generate that much traffic. i guess the freeware (free software), free sound bytes and the snappy little blog postings i contribute to the web community are worth a few minutes for people here and there and everywhere.

curious what some of the search engine keywords used to get to my site/blog were:

dog the bounty hunter pictures

gmail shortcut
gmail downloads
southwest airlines ding

stock recommend blog

    Wow. nice numbers for something that is personal – indeed. It is promising. I am really getting – NO traffic these days on jcnet, but – I haven’t put ANY time in it as far as design goes. I think I still have font tags and ABSOLUTELY NO CSS on jcnet right now lol.

    I just haven’t had enough time to just sit down and really plan it all out, but seeing your results motivates me. I plan to get my act together and get cleaned up haha.

    I can say that blogs can be VERY powerful tools for seo purposes, that is proven with HHR and now this.

    Great job is what I mean to say!!! hah

    and when I say that I haven’t put in any time on the design – I mean code wise, not graphics and layout. I am proud of its look and feel – just need to stylesheet it and get my urls to be nice and clean like yours. Build some more pages… etc.

    Like you said before – people don’t realize that SEO is an ongoing thing. I guess we will be telling crazy stories in a few years, our blogs may be huge by then. endless.

    and still we are just catching everybody up in our lil circle haha.

    oh and you should have that package in your mailbox today I think. Let me know if you get it.

    I’m going to try to use awstats to see what my traffic looks like then I can post you some comparison results.
