What remains is the issue of baud rates, (and RTS, and DTS for which I have found no control in win XP device manager). The mobile Monitor works nicely to link to the correct com port. Once that was done, I directed the add hardware manager to re-install susteen.inf et al and I have my dcu-11 where it belongs in the LPT and Com port section of Device manager.
