XML Webservices Programmer Resume
I got my first taste of real deal XML web-services while working in the travel industry (2002-ish), competing against up and comers like Orbitz. In my experience Travel seems to have been one of the first serious adaptors of XML and Webservices. I'm just thankful I got to be involved in a lot of really cool development projects where we created powerful services that passed XML data via SOAP Requests to big name players like Priceline & Western Union. Even to this day a lot of businesses aren't capitalizing on the power and flexibility that XML and webservices offer. But when they come around... and come around looking for a web services developer... I'll be here waiting :)
