well i know my story of having a great time at a Round Rock Express AAA baseball game pales in comparison to James’ just getting back from HAWAII… but i did want to mention it. i went with my cousin and it was really cool. the stadium has got to be one of the nicest AAA stadiums in existence… the Dell Diamond. what’s cool is Nolan Ryan owns the franchise.
it was a great game to start… 3 up 3 down then to homers by the Express in the first inning… but umm… downhill from there. but it was a lot of fun… good food and some surprising things too (hot tub & pool, sand volleyball court, rock climbing… tons of kids playgrounds… all INSIDE the stadium… crazy!)
just thought i’d mention it… it was cool… first of hopefully several games i’ll attend this summer!
tis the season i suppose. We caught the roundrock express last year I believe at our new park here in Midtown. anyhow – it was ok… i think we bailed about 6th inning. just loses its “new” after a while. I wouldn’t mind it if it was a new (as in somewhere I haven’t been) or any professional… but just seems like I get so bored with baseball.
I want to make it to a Rangers game this year, I can honestly say I haver NEVER watched a professional Baseball, Hockey or Basketball game. I have lived a sheltered life I know, but I seen the Redskins hehe.

yeah baseball can be a very slooooooow game to watch. and the Express aren’t the Rangers… i’m sure i’ll go to at least 1 Rangers game and hopefully a few this summer. but yeah this Dell Diamond stadium is really cool and like i said there’s all this other stuff that i’ve never seen before going on at the stadium… i only stayed in my seat from 1st to 3rd inning then i was walking around… watching the game from different places til the 7th inning stretch before i made it back to my seat.
sad thing is… i never went to a baseball game there in Midland… hmm… strange… i never was interested for some reason… that’s weird. o well.
ok… I’m getting kinda of tired of going to your website and reading about AAA baseball!!! SLACKER!!!! heh
