i’ve got more good search engine optimization results to share. since i started working with SiteStreet in Austin, Texas i’ve been improving our search engine rankings. after a short 2 months we’ve done some big moving and shaking. for some very competitive and valuable search keywords we’ve gathered several 1st page listings, top 2 & 3 listings…. and my favorite of all… a few #1 listings.

i hope your seo is going good too… please share any success stories you have! if you need some help with search engine optimization let me know!

Google Stock

some of you might remember what i was saying a year ago… “if you wish you could go back in time and buy Microsoft stock when it was cheap then just be ready to buy stock in Google when they go public” also “if you get Google stock.. it’s a long term HOLD… don’t sell… resist… it will pay off… it’s not a short term buy”

i wish i could say that i could have purchased the stock when they went public… unfortunately i had debt to deal with and was in an unstable financial environment… however, very soon i guarantee i will be purchasing as much as i can get my hands on… and not for a short term fix (the stock is going to flux, but it will continue to climb!)

let’s just hope that if Social Security isn’t around in 40 years that Google is ๐Ÿ˜€

Google Adsense EFT

for those of you who have Adsense accounts and are wondering if the EFT is a good choice… my opinion is a very strong YES.

Google used some terminology which made it sound like there might be problems with the transactions and so a lot of people were weary of signing up for the service. i too was a little hesitant… but i figured G was just covering themselves in case something did go wrong. seems to me their testing was thorough enough… as i got my direct deposits 2 days ago!! no more sending checks to the bank and waiting for them in the mail ๐Ÿ™‚

so if you have an Adsense account i’d say… go for it!

if you don’t have an Adsense account or don’t have any idea what i’m talking about… check it out… it’s the coolest way to make a little extra money from your website(s) >> Google Adsense

Oil Prices… investment opportunity

gas prices are high, we all know that. almost everybody looks at this as a negative. however, you can recover the money spent on oil (gas) by investing in oil!

“I don’t see anything that can take this thing down,” said Michael Guido, director of commodity strategy in New York for Societe Generale. He said the fear of a supply problem รขโ‚ฌโ€ not an actual supply problem รขโ‚ฌโ€ is driving the market psychology.

here are some Oil Funds worth looking into. (keep in mind, summer is around the corner… and gas consumption and prices always go up!)

Stock Prices I Keep an Eye On & You Should Too

do u keep up with stock prices?

if not, maybe you should.

i’ve been pretty successful in my limited activity in trading stock. i can’t recall ever giving bad advice… unless you consider the time i suggested buying AMD a couple of years ago when it was in the 10$ area and it dropped pretty low then rebounded nicely. the reason i suggested it was because of the 64 bit processor they were supposed to release… it kept getting delayed… and delayed… definetly the longest delay in releasing a product i’ve ever personally seen. anyhow, besides for that advice (which was still good for anybody patient enough to wait about 2 years to make a 50-100% profit) my picks have all been without many bumps.

so, when i post stock advice on this blog just remember i’m just an average joe giving advice… u can take it or leave it. if u take it don’t expect me to be liable if u lose money. but hey, that’s not what i’m here for. i’m only going to post something if i think you can benefit from or appreciate the information.

that being said and out of the way…

i added a new page to my site for stock information. the page currently contains stocks that i’m personally interested in and watching. in fact the whole purpose of the page is really for me. but i figure along the way of updating it and adding features to it that my visitors (who are my friends… except those pesky spammers(who really only send their stinking bots)) might enjoy being able to access it also.

so it’s plain vanilla right now, but just wait… it will get better.
